Soup may just be one of my very favorite things to cook on a cold winter day, and I’m sure that I’m not alone! I wanted to gather up a big list of my favorite, tried, and true recipes that you will love. I’ve tried to make sure that there is a wide variety, chicken, beef, vegetable, and everything in between so that you can for sure find something that you love!
I not only picked a variety of flavors, but I picked a variety of ways to cook them. So whether you love your slow cooker, Instant Pot, stove, or microwave, I’ve got you covered! Tips and Tricks
Since every soup is different, there are a few things that you may want to keep in mind! I’ve come up with a few of my most frequently asked questions about soup and compiled a list of tips! They should help your soup turn out perfectly!
- Chopped Vegetables: Keep in mind that you are eating your soup with a spoon! So you probably don’t want to chop your veggies up too large. Think of all that you want to eat in a spoonful and keep that in mind as you are cutting things up and preparing it.
- Let it Cool Before Storing: Make sure that if you have leftovers of your soup that you don’t put it in the fridge right away. Put it on your counter and let it cool to room temperature and then place it in an airtight container to put in your fridge.
- Simmer: When you have cooked your soup then you want to let it simmer. This allows it to stay warm but to also allow the flavors of all of your ingredients to blend together. It will add a depth to it and make it taste so good!
